We are anticipating a very busy year at Wooldridge Group with a successful end to 2014 we are already experiencing an increased demand for even more of our services for the coming year.
Currently have several large sites due for completion over the coming months, with larger profile projects to start in the Spring, in London and the South East. With emphasis so strongly focused on Health and Safety. Wooldridge have invested in expanding their Health & Safety department now offering external services with our CDM co-ordinator. This service is intended to act as a clients key project advisor in respect of construction and Health & safety risk management to manage the flow of health & safety information between the clients, designers and contractors. Kicking off the New Year Heronsbrook have only 1 remaining apartment left at Eminence in Richmond and projects on the starting blocks with build work to commence at the end of this month for 8 luxury apartments in Ealing and 9 apartments in Maidenhead both of which will benefit from the Cross Rail link (once completed) into London. In April we will be launching some two bedroom apartments in Epsom town centre and just up the road plans are in place for 2 stunning detached family homes in the Surrey village of Walton on the Hill with completion anticipated for Christmas 2015 …..yes already thinking about Christmas!
After successful land restoration of the prestigious Guards Polo Club pitches at Flemish Farm, overlooking the stunning views of Windsor Castle. The Wooldridge team continue with the redevelopment and restoration at the Royal Berkshire Polo Club and with the ever increasing demand for muck away we eagerly await more new tipper trucks with an anticipated arrival in March. With continued pressure to find more land restoration sites for the forth coming years ahead our team would be happy to meet and discuss any potential new sites.
Having grown the Wooldridge Groundworks team last year to meet the volume of work, we enter the New Year with sites in Bath, Worcester, Cirencester, Finchley, Mill Hill and even a Wetlands project for Berkeley Homes Western in Reading. Our dedicated team worked hard over the Christmas period to allow a road closure system to take place to avoid major disruption to the local residents.
An added string to our bow is our new volumetric concrete mixing lorry allowing you to get the exact quantities required on site – never over or under order again!. Not only are we able to produce concrete for foundations, bases and car ports at competitive prices, but we are also able to produce concrete barriers and Lego blocks. Our clients using our groundwork services will benefit from our competitive prices and efficiency of this in-house service.
With the upturn in the house building sector our Road Sweepers have been out in full force.
Providing gulley clearing and Road cleaning services from individual House Builders to larger contracts including the New High Tech Veterinary School at Guildford University to our on-going contract at Heathrow involving the resurfacing of the northern runway.
